Overview

P&L Event is a free iOS finance utility (App Store id 6802185542) for watchlists, brokerage holdings / P&L context, and corporate events such as earnings. This Privacy Policy describes how the app and the marketing site at promptdora.com relate to information you provide or that may be processed on your device.

Information you provide

  • Watchlist and holdings data you enter (tickers, quantities, cost basis, notes, and similar fields).
  • Preferences such as display or notification settings you choose in the app.

This information is stored on your device. If you turn on optional private sync, it may also sync through your iCloud / CloudKit account under Apple’s control. We do not operate a separate user account system for this app.

Advertising and analytics

P&L Event is free and uses the following Google services in the shipping build (App Store id 6802185542):

  • Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — advertising (publisher ID pub-9967850754867722, also listed in app-ads.txt). AdMob and its partners may collect and process device identifiers and related technical data for advertising, fraud prevention, and advertising measurement (for example IDFA if you allow tracking, or limited / SKAdNetwork-style signals when tracking is restricted).
  • Firebase Analytics (with Firebase Core as the supporting Firebase dependency) — product analytics / usage measurement. Firebase may collect device and diagnostic or usage data to help us understand how the app is used and improve reliability and features.

The shipping project configuration we rely on does not include Crashlytics, Sentry, or another separate crash-reporting SDK.

How we use information

  • To run the features you use (watchlist, holdings / P&L views, corporate events).
  • To sync your data privately via Apple when you enable iCloud sync.
  • To show ads that help keep the app free.
  • To measure product usage and improve the app via Firebase Analytics.

Third parties

  • Apple — App Store distribution, on-device frameworks, and optional iCloud / CloudKit sync under Apple’s terms and privacy notices.
  • Google AdMob — advertising and advertising measurement.
  • Google Firebase Analytics (including Firebase Core) — product analytics / usage measurement.

Market data or event feeds (if any) may be provided by third-party data sources under their own terms; they are used to display information in the app, not to sell your personal identity.

Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell your watchlist, holdings, P&L figures, or other portfolio content you enter. We do not sell personal information for money.

For advertising, device identifiers and related data may be disclosed / made available to Google and advertising partners for ads and advertising measurement. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), that kind of disclosure for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “share.” It is limited to advertising and measurement purposes — not a sale of your watchlist or holdings.

Children (COPPA)

P&L Event is a general-audience finance utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Retention

Data you enter stays on your device (and in your iCloud, if sync is on) until you delete it or remove the app. Advertising and analytics partners retain data according to their own policies and retention windows.
